Watch abit of Saw 4 beginning,(like around 10 minutes).
Can't imagine that scene in bluray or 1080p.

Spider-Man 3 Easily Becomes Sony's Top Seller

Sony Pictures Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced that 'Spider-Man 3' has become their best selling Blu-ray title to date. Final numbers are a few days away, but it appears that the web-slinging hero managed to surpass sales of Sony's longtime Blu-ray golden-child 'Casino Royale' in its first week of sales.

wouldnt it be better if its totally full screen? or is tehre an option to make it full? abit susah la like people buy 46 inch. thn the thing gets narrowed down cause of the black box!?

ruzty, tat one is OAR, u cant do anything abt it

frankly, @ 1st i also complain abt the 2.35:! aspect, why not 16:9 full screen?

but nowadays, frankly, after numerous bluray watching, i prefer 2.35:1 for movies and 16:9 for documentaries

I find it weird that the 1st Spidey is displayed in 1.85:1 while the rest is in 2.40:1.

I find the screen is wide enough. Do they really have to go wider? biggrin.gif

On another note, can the PS3 upscales 480i Bluray discs? I noticed that POTC 1 & 2 special features discs is in 480i which looks terrible here. It's just plain odd that it upscales DVD nicely but not Bluray? Any ideas?
