Also note that the air blows through the front 3/4 of the cooler, so if you want maximum cooling your laptop should preferably have the air intake near the front.

I see, well my laptop (Inspiron 1520) has the intake slightly forward of the battery, should be okay. Which do you guys recommend more, the NC-1000 or the CoolerMaster NotePal Infinite? biggrin.gif

I want to ask NC-100 owners...is the fan strong enough?

The air coming out frm the holes...are they soft or quite noticable?

Whoah thread necrophilia.

About a year ago, when this thread was started, it was RM160, now it's about RM100ish.

To clean fans: you can disassemble the cooler. There are screws under the rubber strips on the aluminium top. Carefully peel them off, then unscrew, then clean.

You don't need that much air to effectively cool a lappy down. The main thing is that the air has to be moving, and not stagnant. The ZM-1k doesn't move a lot of air, but enough to keep things cool.

But I looked around...and found cRadia's with its 220mm fan at RM89.

I got the cRadia and is satisfied with it =D

To evilhomura,

Here is the pic.

The fan is unbelievably quiet despite its size.
