Hi guys recently I bought mega kabel from my nearby store and one roll is 90m. Anyone know whether it’s genuine? There is no cop behind the logo as well. Wondering whether mega kabel got release 90m version?

And wanted to ask advise from all sifu here.

Currently my house I found out that my kitchen(kitchen hood and refrigerator) shared the same circuit with my another room as well as my washing machine. It's connected to a single MCB. Any solution for me to install an aircond?

Wireman said it's difficult to pull wire from db as I had plaster ceiling on already.

Bukan itu laaa
The close up of the cable laser marks. The one which says Mega kabel how many MMSQ certified to SIRIM QAS MS 2112-3. That piece of paper I can buy a mega kabel use up the cable and recon that piece of paper with a fake cable roll wrap up in shrink wrap and no one will know whistling.gif

Also highly suspect because all along Mega Kabel (not Mega) has been in 100m roll. Most of the capalang ones are 90

Or u strip one end and twist the wires tgt. Should be bright and shiny and doesn’t have instant twist instant break

Looks OK font checks out, and the copper on high level too
Though the 90m part should be a business decision which I'm not too happy about personally (like the shampoo from 1L -> 950 -> 900ml shrinkflation)

Thank you so much ceo πŸ™πŸ™ was ready to confront the shop until feeling lucky that you tell me it looks OK and laugh it off with the shrinkflation πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Noprob; hood (suck hot air) share with fridge is OK, at most 300W+400W only.
However hob (cooking surface/electric stove top) is strongly not recommended to share since high power device.

It depends on how complex your plaster ceiling is.. coz one thing about wireman whilst they can patch up simple cracks or misdrilled holes with putty, it won't be 100% perfect.. assuming its just flat ceiling board then easier to patch up, theoretically one little manhole every 8-15 feet apart will need to be made since need to run conduit and to point the conduit pipe in the correct direction/mount it. Probably if you're fine to redo the cut-out seam lines with joint compound and to patch out the cutouts with short battens/drywall screws (to stop the inverted manhole from falling out) the wireman can do-lah (some additional effort)

Thanks once again ceo!

Currrently with 20A mcb is connected to

1.fridge
2. Hood
3. Washing machine
4. They wanted to tap from this line for aircond πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

So far I had called up to 5 electricians and all of them just refused to pull from db. The one still thinking of it offer me a price of rm550 for one point.

Mine is all flat plaster ceiling but the portion near wall would be cornice. I don’t really mind to have some imperfection as long as it’s safe than sorry.

Wondering whether we have specific tool to use to guide the conduit? I told my contractor to do so and he told me there are beams in the ceiling that might be blocking the way. So not possible to do so also.. hmmm..

There is another way to be less conspicuous, which is to install surface mounting,
using smaller sized rectangular "square casing" directly at the highest point of the wall - following the edge of the cornice so it sort of blends in.

It seemed like a good idea as well and less hacking to do. Meaning surface all the way from db to kitchen right? Using small rectangle pvc case to protect wires.

Will keep this as my last resort if still nobody wants to take up the job to hack the ceiling and conceal 😩

Thanks a lot ceo! πŸ‘πŸ‘
