QUOTE(chupapi_munyayo @ Aug 22 2024, 05:05 PM) Thanks for the link I'm now staying in SG My Singpass all SG address Will still try to submit application before I move to JB in Nov24 Do note .. if your landlord removes your name from the unit, they will be able to trace. And, that will somehow affect your PR application getting rejected.

I always remove tenant names after they move out. Risky to leave them there in case of Ah Long activities.

Do you know why do Singapore citizens or PR ICs no longer display blood type information on the back? I saw a relative's old photocopied IC that issued in 1992. It seems that for the country of birth, they wrote Kedah instead of Malaysia. It also shows his blood type as " O+ " on the back. This post has been edited by plouffle0789: Sep 17 2024, 01:44 AM

IINM it’s because the hospitals can now cross match and type A patient’s blood group much faster now.

Anyway, the question is, why would TS being overly concerned of it? Does it really matter though? As long he gets an IC why bother? Haha

Anyway, wonder any PRs getting or has gotten a house recently? The market is crazily high despite the cooldown measures. But the BTO launching on oct is so tempting ..

QUOTE(styrwr91 @ Sep 17 2024, 06:24 PM) Yeah we can't, unless your SO is a citizen. But the projects are so tempting for the offered locations. Resale is sky high now. Basically, with the price, we could easily get a prime BTO.

As a single person in Singapore, you have two choices for HDB housing. You can either apply for a 2-room Flexi BTO (built-to-order) flat from HDB in a non-mature estate or buy a resale HDB flat. However, in both cases, you must wait till you are 35 years old (unless you are widowed or orphaned). Kesian........... This post has been edited by plouffle0789: Sep 18 2024, 01:36 PM

Resale is way too high now, making BTOs seem to be cheap.

Someone just told me you can buy older HDB flats with around 30 - 50 years left on the lease. These flats are cheaper, and you can rent out the rooms to others. [ New HDB flats come with a 99-year lease. ] UNMARRIED Singapore PR aged over 35 cannot buy resale or 2-room Flexi BTO (built-to-order) right? UNMARRIED Singapore citizens aged over 35 CAN buy resale HDB flats and 2-room Flexi BTO (built-to-order) right? This post has been edited by plouffle0789: Sep 18 2024, 01:53 PM
