All the new characters with illustrations confirmed to be 5 stars. Confirmed by insiders.
I never played Hi3 but heard many horror stories on the powercreep.
If HSR going to follow Hi3 path that would suck very much.
Confirm have to powercreep for so many of those new characters otherwise cannot sell.

HSR seems to be pushing it quite fast for me.
Ever since they screwed up with Robin being broken as heck, now all future Harmony characters have to be at a similar level to even sell.
Case in point Sunday totally powercreeping Sparkle. (I have Sparkle so still salty she only has 50% Action Advance instead of 100%)

DPS wise newer characters have weakness ignore/implant now as selling points, making core mechanics of element weakness kind of useless. Firefly and Feixiao are quite the power jump from previous DPS (except Acheron) and setting new expected DPS standards for Hunt and Destruction.

Free standard character selector is up. Plan to get Bronya since no have her yet. Bronya also the only relevant standard 5-star I think.
I still thinking want to get Sunday or Firefly. Not many jades left after losing 50/50 to Aventurine.
The Herta animations are very very nice, so I plan to save for her also.

I haven't really touched PF much. Himeko E1 very good there? I also have Himeko E1 but still farming relics for her.

My goodness. What did they do to Tingyun's voice.
They changed her Voice Actor but the new voice directions sounds so dead compared to previous cheerful Tingyun.
Was trying out the Tingyun trial when I noticed the jarring difference.

TLDR: You can buy standard characters/Ruan Mei/Luocha copies with new Gold Spirit. Pulling E7+ 5-star characters gives Silver Spirit. 2 Silver = 1 Gold.
Game will give you one Gold Spirit for logging in during Versions 3.2 - 3.4, so remember to redeem your free character.

New Custom 50/50 Loss Pool


Choose 7 characters to make up your own 50/50 loss selection. You can now randomly lose 50/50 to Seele, Blade or Fu Xuan instead of standard characters if you want.

New LC Shop (Only for Paid BP buyers)


TLDR: You can buy standard + certain LC with new shards. Shards given from paid BP. Either buy 4x RM40 BP or 2x RM80 BP to exchange for one LC.

Free new Limited 5-Star character giveaway this year (like Dr. Ratio)

When you lose 50/50 normally the game randomly chooses from the 7 standard characters to give you. In this case you can take out and replace any of the standard characters with Blade, Fu Xuan or Seele.

Example:
- Originally is 7 standard characters, Bailu, Yanqing, Clara, Himeko, Welt, Bronya, Gepard.

- You take out Bailu, Yanqing, Clara and select Blade, Fu Xuan, Seele with the remaining standard characters, Himeko, Welt, Bronya, Gepard for total of 7 characters.

- New selection is now Blade, Fu Xuan, Seele, Himeko, Welt, Bronya, Gepard.

- So whenever you lose 50/50 the game will only randomly choose from Blade, Fu Xuan, Seele, Himeko, Welt, Bronya, Gepard to give you.

- Since you never selected Bailu, Yanqing, Clara, the game will never give you these three when you lose 50/50.

Up to you to choose which 7 characters you want to mix and match.
