I really don't understand. Ganges River is one of their holy sacred river that is significant in both their cultures and religions, but why they throw rubbishes and everything into  the river?

So weird.

Sacred places regardless of religions in the world, are always been keep clean, nobody simply litters or bring rubbishes into these places. And that is how holy sacred site shall be.
