my phone battery starting to last shorter and shorter

when first buy can last 2 days + if not heavy use

now 1 day +

i can forsee i will need to buy new in the near future

Please recommend me what brand to buy

iphone - i dont use iphone
windows phone - do they still exists?
samsung - i like their UI , but some south korean insulted me when gaming, i refuse to use samsung ever since
xiaomi - love them but i paid and they still put ads in the UI, what the fuck?
vivo - bought a used phone, dont like their UI
huawei - have no problem with it but it cant access google playstore, right now i am ok but i dont know if i will ever need to use google services, prefer not to buy this first
lenovoa - i used P2 and loved it , but p2 is old model, P series doesnt seem to have new models..

so the only options left unexplored

i dont need flagship phone, 6gb ram + 128 gb rom + snapdragon is more than enough i would love to have battery of 5k mah and above only.


1) is google nexus available in malaysia?
2) does pocophone have ads like their other redmi/xiaomi siblings?
3) are there any brands out there that exist but i didnt mention?

samsung, really, you avoid them for that reason? come on. Their A series is pretty good value
xiaomi - could use a pc to debloat and remove ads, or select a region with strict privacy laws (eg switzerland) in settings

oppo, vivo, realme, oneplus, all same company, you can do research, parent company of them 4 is BBK Electronics
oneplus used to be good, nowdays is just rebranded oppo
realme started off as a subbrand of oppo, now moved to under bbk, they're fine.

1. Nexus is dead, Pixel replaced it, not offically avaliable in M'sia but got importers from SG

3. realme maybe? as well as the newcomers such as Tecno, Infinix (under same parent company, Transsion Holdings), popular brand in Africa, recently entered Malaysia market, I never used their device before so no comment on them.

used huawei P30 pro, very satisfied with it.
then kepo go changed to Honor magic 4, after few months phone start to lag, now almost 1 year already, looking to upgrade
now looking at P60 Pro, should be able to access google services now through some bypass

Samsung mid range is pretty good (good software updates, decent specs and UI). Xiaomi is good if you get their flagship range. Pixel has probably the best photos of the bunch, but battery is avg. Can also explore some of the 2022/2021 flagship for decent price

The latest Poco F5 seems good, their MIUI does come preinstall with additional apps but mostly u can uninstall them no problem, and those recommended ads u can simply chose to not show them in the settings. I am still using Poco F3 with Android 13, smooth sailing so far.

Samsung should be ok but since got incident, maybe u can try Sony. 1 thing good about Sony, thought sone may disagree is that they dont have bloatware like Samsung. The ui is really basic Android UI. Everything feels smooth.

Maybe OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite, seems like a good midrange phone

Im using honor 90 lite.. very smooth phone

samsung note is good phone if you use a lot of the pen to do stuff

Any cons ? Like single speaker, front and back camera sharp ?

Is the LCD screen gooding compare to AMOLED . The so called eye care feature working ?

I'm still in torn between Redmi note 12 pro 5g and honor 90 lite.

Single speaker just loud ok.. but its just single. Nowadays most phone already use stereo

LCD ok.. its good screen. Eye carr feature is working fine. No issue for me


Camera kinda good..

But this honor phone good very good signal. Before this i use xioami 11 lite.. signal not so good..week signal
