All instant noodles contain ethylene oxide, which is carcinogenic. The ethylene oxide is from the anticaking agents used on the noodles and powdery flavoring.
Anticaking is to prevent the noodles from being soft and moist which also applies to the powder used in instant noodles.

For the case of Ah Lai, they probably exceed the permitted limit. Conclusion is, all instant noodles have some form of carcinogens.
