I've read alot of review about all the 3 models. But it is just reading which I don't understand much because of my lack of experience & technical knowledge. I'm a noob but planning to take up photography. All are almost around the same price of RM1300

I've only managed to test the Sony H3 & Nikon P5100 in the shops but not for long. H3 is very user friendly with excellent zoom wherelse I like the functions of the P5100. Is there any other points that I should look out for in choosing my 1st camera?

Some say that I should just get a D40x but I still plan to own a semi pro compact for mobility and later when i get better I'll get a DSLR. I guess u'll still nid a compact eventhough if you already have a DSLR.
