Dear guys, what do you guys think about H65S6UG PRO from Haier, it seems a good deal as compare to Hisense U7H.

Just wanna hear from the gurus here on this for your sharing, as I’m sourcing 65ā€ tv for my new house below 4k.

Most usage:
1. Movie on Netflix and Hot star 50%
2. Gaming on PS5 & Xbox 50%

Haier today has debuted three new smart TVs for the local market. These include its first ever OLED models, the 65-inch H65C900UX and 55-inch H55C900UX, as well as its largest QLED offering, the all-new 98-inch H98S900UX. The trio are available immediately in Malaysia.

Meanwhile, the larger H98S900UX is offered at only RM24,999, with a free Haier 55-inch Google TV also up for grabs for the first three customers who purchase it.

Discount RM5K and free 55" TV. shocking.gif

Honestly I'm curious to see the review for the 98" running current gen consoles or a PC with RTX 4090. Wanna know if it genuinely supports HDMI 2.1 features.

I saw the Haier H65P750UX recently, the PQ is quite decent for its price and it feature is impressive as well with Dolby Vision+Atmos and HDMI 2.1 ALLM VRR. However the review and comment about this TV or Haier TVs in general is limited. I am more curious about the reliability and customer service.

Anyone heard or own a Haier OLED TVs?

Can't really find any user reviews on the net regarding their OLED TVs.

What panel are they sourcing from?

Theres only 2 OLED TV panels manufacturer on the market.

The one made by BOE are custom order and only used in very specific models .

So its either Quantum Dots OLED by Samsung, or WOLED by LG. Judging from the specification, likely the latter .

I thought so.. Thanks for enlightening.

They are marginally cheaper compared to others.. which is very tempting but seems like a landmine.
Offering 3 years warranty by default on top of that with an inbuilt sound bar.

But of course, the issue of brand reliability and aftersales service/warranty claim and all...

From what I've heard, they don't use up-to-date panels. Meaning it could be from last year, not a dealbreaker since it is a lot cheaper.

And it is still OLEDs , still retain most of the superb quality such as more accurate colors, infinite contrasts and so on .

If you are seriously looking to buy an OLED, I would suggest waiting until the end of the year and pay a little bit more attention to those vouchers dropping from Laz / Shopee.
You can usually get a very good deal out of them LG or Samsung.

Actually looking to replace a 48' LG OLED A series - due to dead pixel on the edges (read from the net, that panels from around that batch/year has manufacturing defect leading to early failure/dead pixels forming around the edge)
Proceeded with warranty claim (covered by AIA electronic extended warranty program)
Deemed no replaceable part/repairable so they are covering the purchase price, asking to choose preferred models to replace/top up

Too bad, I don't see any A series in market currently;
Stepping up to B series, starting at minimum 55 inch is almost double the price already
Stepping up to C series, at 48 inch, would cost around 1k + more

Primary usage is for family to watch shows/movie with TV box with no gaming

HAIER pops up as a very affordable and budget choice..

That's unfortunate .

The A series are severely watered down , from its mainline and flagship ( mainly the C and G series ) , to the point LG specifically downgrade the panel just so they can sell the C and G series.

As always you have got moronic salesman and lowyat forumers telling you those are great deals but in actual reality its all sales pitch.

To make it worse , it isn't actually that much cheaper. You are better off getting last year's C models , if your warranty is covered by LG.
If its the shop that cover for you , meaning you can choose any other brand , get Samsung's last year or even last last year's QD OLEDs , which are likely on major discounts right now.
