For big malls like Mid Valley, One Utama, or Sungei Wang Plaza(Main Wing and Jumpa) , which have two wings, they can choose to do Chinese New Year decorations on either the old wing or the new wing, and the same goes for Hari Raya Puasa decorations.

Kongsi Raya, also known as Gongxi Raya, is a Malaysian portmanteau, denoting the Chinese New Year and Hari Raya Aidilfitri (Eid ul-Fitr) festivals.
As the timing of these festivals fluctuate due to their reliance on lunar calendars (the Chinese calendar is a lunisolar calendar while the Islamic calendar is a purely lunar calendar), they occasionally occur close to one another - every 33 years to be exact.

Therefore, a year in the Islamic calendar consists of 12 lunar months, each lasting for 29 or 30 days. As a result, the Islamic calendar year is about 354 days long, and it can be up to 355 days in a leap year.
