Anyone here know where to get x11? Apparently i need it to install open office but when i tried installing x11, they say i got a more advanced x11, when i install open office, they say i need x11?? Anyone encounter this problem before? Apple stopped x11 though, probably due to their relationship with microsoft office sigh help pls?

why not get neooffice instead? www.neooffice.org
it's the os x version of open office without requiring X11.
I find it pointless to install X just for OpenOffice, unless you use X for other purposes as well, and yes, it can be installed, and no, Apple has not "stopped" X11.

NeoOffice works the same as Openoffice. Am using it. Go for it. A bit slow on my PowerBook G4 compared to native Word but since it's free I got no complaint.

OpenOffice Aqua should be released soon too. But only for Tiger and up.
It does not require X11
