Penang also got one shop used to open 4~4.30am long queue. After covid they stop they open at 6 ish am. During Puasa they open back to 12 or 1am man queue is long again. Below photo taken few days ago at 4.45am

It’s just freaking nasi lemak. Just like before this got nasi lemak dara or janda. Most of nasi lemak mostly taste same only. Because it’s viral one people que. Typical malaysia la.

Anybody can cook nasi lemak but not easy to make a good nasi lemak.

Rice should be 'lemak' enough without overpowering the sambal, and the sambal must hav a balanced level of belacan, asam n heat from the dry chillies.

Ive been perfecting my own recipe for close to 10 years now. Still cant beat a ppropely cooked nasi lemak.

This place always damn famous b4 covid. Kopitiam is Chinese own. Used to have van kilang bring their ppl come and eat. Not to mention alot of Indians not just malays go there at 4.30am long queue.



Nowadays start open 6.30am after puasa will lose some of wee hours morning business compare to open earlier. Cos a lot of GH staffs go there eat also.
