Guys, i need some help regarding which Wifi Extender should i buy...
I just buy Mi Wifi Range Extender AC1200, but the problem is :

1) I cant use same ssid name which i set in router
2) Cant put special character (@,$,% etc) in ssid
3) It creates an "SSID_plus" as new ssid name. For example if you currently ssid is "Home", so extender will create ssid as "Home_Plus"

So i hope you guys can give me suggestion which Extender that can use same ssid name with router and can also use special character in ssid....

Just buy a AX grade router, and use it as a Wifi repeater,it should be more stable and can set any ssid name u like.
(The special character one, cant guarantee which brand support,u might ask someone who have the router that u want to test for you)

Personally, I don't recommend using wifi extender. They mostly don't work.

If have to use one, can get any Mikrotik wifi router and configure as repeater. This one can use any characters for the SSID.

why so fancy about the same ssid name. else crash u also wont notice u connected to which router. no special character allowed in ssid i guess. unless u customize the firmware allowed to do so.

So that means i need to know if firmware support it or not...?
Well, i can consider to not use fancy character in ssid name but can't using same ssid name is kinda hassle...
