Noob question lokgotz...I was trying the link that Mike gave and notice that the unlock screen just never appears.

How long does it take? Do you guys connect your touch to the laptop/mac? Or just the touch with wireless connection?

i did it with just the wireless connection......

if it doesnt appear, just do it again until it does what the website says...

i think it's because their servers are too loaded with everyone jailbreaking their touch and iphone...

Holy cow, I didn't realize that restoring to factory settings still needs a 100MB+ download. So guys, do all your stuff properly and treat the Restore as your last resort. I've learn my lesson but I'm happy that a one touch solution to jailbreak is finally here. smile.gif

Added on October 29, 2007, 11:53 pmBtw, can I just hit the Restore button on iTunes to restore it?

Yeah. Just hit the Restore button and it will restore automatically. By the way, the one touch solution to jailbreak does not seem to work for me. I've tried > 10 times with each time i waited about 5 minutes. Touch doesn't seem to auto restart sad.gif

You know pal, first time I tried did not work but do it again on the second. Maybe too much people are using it now. Try again few minutes later, I'm sure it'll work.

Yeah, if your PC have not downloaded the update 1.1.1 before, it will go through that lengthy process. Once the file is downloaded, it'll be on your PC so the next time you do a restore it will straight go for that file unless of course there's a newer update from Apple's servers.

The new and EASIEST jailbreaking method has been included in the guide. I think Summerboard is preinstalled during the jailbreak. I have not personally tried so i need someone else to confirm this.

I still hope there are people who would share their summerboard pics here smile.gif
