Used to have one Pana rice cooker with non-stick inner pot. The inner pot developed pittings soon and we had to dispose of it.
Bought Khind Anshin with ss inner pot and never looked back.

QUOTE(la bella @ Apr 19 2023, 10:47 AM) My house is using this. The one I have does not have the Buffalo stamp on its inner ss pot dy.Khind Anshin Buffalo stainless steel inner pot rice cooker. Heavy and durable. Classic looking. 10 years warranty. I saw it selling in senheng, Aeon, NSK, common electric appliances store also can find. https://www.khind.com.my/healthy-convenient...-inner-pot.html ![]() I bought this for my mom she loves it. I bought one smallest one for myselft too. Those saying stainless steel pot will sticks rice, you haven't tried this pot. Before using this she using nonstick inner pot rice cooker the nonstick layer peels off sticks to rice after few years of using. But I think not all non stick inner pot rice cookers are not good. Just personal preference my mom doesn't like nonstick cookwares she says got toxic from the nonstick layer. She probably doesn't know the correct way to use non-stick so she prefer stainless steel pot. |

QUOTE(sammm33 @ Apr 22 2023, 01:58 AM) instead of getting a "rice cooker that remove starch", just eat less rice will serve the same purpose, right ? Some people, like my mom for example, are "tong nasi". They need to eat certain amount of rice in order to tahan hunger, especially for dinner. This isn't healthy alright but many have trouble adapting to, or refuse to accept that eating less rice means it's easier on the body to regulate blood sugar, which ironically means easier to control hunger. |

QUOTE(The.Lucas.DaY @ Apr 27 2023, 09:16 AM) Need to thoroughly wash the rice before cooking and need to put just-nice amount of water. Having said that, my experience is 30:70 (stick:non stick). TinyTots liked this post

QUOTE(beverlykho @ Apr 27 2023, 09:48 AM) Wow..238 cheapest now. I bought when the range first came out and it was RM1++. I bought this 0.6L in 2017 at RM180 from 11street. There's no buffalo stamping on the inner pot. Still using it.Is it still using the Buffalo Stainless Steel pot? Edit: didn't realise I was replying to last year's post.
