Eh, wanna ask. I noticed most of my foreign bank CC will hand a different 4 digit end number in ccris. Is this normal?
For example my card ending is 2215, but in ccris it is written 1223. The amount owed looks the same though. Ok ah? Issit normal?

Some banks use customer ID or special account number instead of credit card number.

in banks card database they will have
1) Credit Card Number 2) Account Number 3) CIF Number (customer identification no)
so it could be one of these 3 being reported to ccris
anyway to be sure u can call up their contact centre and verify

Just wonder if this is the case… if u lost cc or report stolen etc .. bank will issue new card new number to you … but if u continue pay to old card number will still work … so it could be your old card num

CCRIS is a very confusing reporting system which it is up to the banks to choose what form of ID they want to report the account info. As long as the underlying amount and ownership is the same it is considered ok already.
