Hi, I’m having issue with my Dahua IMOU Ranger 2 IP cameras where during thunderstorms, the camera would send a “device offline” notification and upon checking the recording, there’s some flicker in the recording. I’ve plugged the cameras into a surge protector but the issue still persists. Looking for advice on how to resolve this issue

A few things u can try: change the USB Adapter of the IMOU Cam connect Cam to a AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator) or UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply)

QUOTE(idealhometech @ Apr 11 2023, 09:00 AM) When the app send u offline msg, how long the cam take to back online? A few things u can try: change the USB Adapter of the IMOU Cam connect Cam to a AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator) or UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) The moment I tap the notification to open the app, the camera shows up as online For the USB adapter, I've tried a different power adapter but the camera still sends the offline notification with some flicker in the recording. Would look into trying an AVR/UPS, is there any AVR/UPS model you would recommend?
