10th April 2023 – (Hong Kong) Renowned Hong Kong actor Richard Ng Yiu Hon, known for his comedic roles in Hong Kong films of the 1980s and 1990s, has suddenly passed away at the age of 83. News of his death was confirmed by his family members in a communication group, stating that they had received a notification from the doctor that Ng might have passed away yesterday, and they were called to the hospital to bid their final farewell. At the hospital, Ng was connected to several tubes, and his family prayed for him. They were later informed that Ng’s heart had stopped, and the doctor used equipment to try to revive it, but ultimately confirmed Ng’s death with a signed document.

He was married to Susan, a British woman who was a stylist for Vidal Sassoon in New York and London. Susan ran HAIR BY SUSAN and worked as Bruce Lee’s hair stylist in the 1970s. They have four children together: Alex Ng, a successful live event producer who runs the concert production company INTERNATIONAL FIXER; Zoe Ng, a professional dancer who studies nature and travels extensively; Louise Ng, a professional photographer and mother; and Carl Ng, an actor.
In March 2021, one of his daughters was arrested for marijuana trafficking in a village house and later on 26th March 2021, Ng’s second daughter was also arrested.
