Hey core gamer dudes,

I am in dilemma and headache of choosing either buy ps2 or PSP Lite, market for PS3 is definitely not stable yet now as PS3 keep coming new stuffs like 80GB or PS3 Lite. Everyone might waiting 1 or 2 years for PS3 from now. Any suggestions or comments on which one that I should buy, PSP Lite or PS2? Anybody knows what is the price now for these two awesome gadgets in Sungei Wang or Low Yatt?

hmm, depends on your Likes .. Portable? or Console. These are the main things u wanna know bfr u buy gaming consoles or handheld ...well.. Da psp Lite has TV output function .. 3.71M33-2 out oso . so "ahem" games are available for the psp slim..

PS2 = Cant show off to your friends haha.. little problems on the CD's sumtimes..not a problem actually.. jus that sumtimes cant read CD .. Just dont scratch it badly ok liao.

PSP if u want to play alone and with small screen..PS2 if u want to play with frens and with big screen

buy either 1, you wont regret. even if ps2 wont have any new title coming out, if you're new, never played any of the games, you will be guaranteed lots of enjoyment playing all the games. i bought a ps2 from bernard last month, am satisfied with his service. anyway, go to his thread or pm him for the price ... psp is gaming on the go...when you go on courses, vacation, balik kampung for hari raya and so on...ps2 is for gaming in house...i think u better get ps2 first lar...u need to to do alot of catch up...u need to finish the final fantasy series or god of war series first...after that you get the psp and play god of war:chain of olympus and final fantasy:crisis core...

what is your situation? do you commute a lot, do you like holding a gaming device and playing it on the small screen? if you have a good tv might as well go for ps2. not to mention parrot games availability (without having to dl them as opposed to PSP parrots)

Ask yourself a simple question, would you prefer playing console games EVERYWHERE or only in your living room(or bedroom, anywhere with your TV for that matter)? There you have it.

P.s. I am aware of LCD screens for the PS2 but they aren't very much enjoyable.

Go for psp lite, many more function than ps2, like mp3 video etc etc.

ps2 is slowly dying...which mean less new game coming out for it.

god of war 3 still in development lar...well, i bought my ps2 becos of god of war but after that fall in love with final fantasy and other stuff....i might get my psp lite ice silver when chain of olympus coming out and maybe fall in love in other stuff as well... and i will absolutely get my hand on ps3 becos of god of war 3 but heavenly sword make me want to have it right now, but still saving for it....im a hack and slash guy, rpg guy...i really like fps but im sucks at aiming with joystick...

I know. But the 1st two is damn nice. Everyday after school stuck in front of the tv and play. Lol.

no way. ps2 is selling more than ps3 during the last holiday sales. 1.4m compared to 1.2m. a lot of games are also being produced for that system. the backlog catalog is also much bigger than that of psps. if the TS is in for piracy, it much easier to get them cheap dvds from pile-o bulk ps2 games

beg too differ...u can alwis hav few fren tat hav psp to mhf2 multiplay...
eg me and my fren play mhf2 while waiting for sum experiment being run in de lab...
so its not playing alone
