This is the first Air Crash Investigation episode featuring aviation accident in China.

The right windshield near the first officer's seat broke during the flight from Chongqing to Lhasa. Part of the first officer's body was sucked out. Rapid decompression happened. But, thanks to the pilots, the plane landed with everyone survived, including the injured first officer.

Investigation by Civil Aviation Authority of China (CAAC) determined that damage to the seal on the right windshield, causing the moisture to penetrate and remain in the cavity on the windshield's bottom edge. This caused the insulation of wires, which connected to the windshield heating system, was reduced after being soaked, causing high temperature and breakage of the windshield's structure. The windshield could no longer withstand the pressures in flight.

Don't know that PRC had the similar accident like British Airways Flight 5390.

That one still await final investigation report from CAAC.

Final investigation report for Sichuan Airlines 8633 had been made public, mean public can read.

China Eastern Airlines 5735, final investigation report not being released yet. I also not sure whether the report will be available to the public or not.
