Last time was semester break so I was looking for a job, found a job accepted salary offer RM1100.
But after working the boss say salary is "following law" 1100 divide (days of the month) times (my working day). I was working from mid of feb to mid of march.
Only got 959 at the end, anything I can do to get my promised amount? Saw from other posts people suggesting to go to some JPP office, I found the website but can't even register an account...
You might as well list down your working days for Feb and March. Labour dept is quite strict. But after working the boss say salary is "following law" 1100 divide (days of the month) times (my working day). I was working from mid of feb to mid of march.

Labour law is favoring employees when it comes to deduction. So for February, 1100- (1100/28 x number of non working days including weekend prior to hiring you). So for March, it would be 1100-(1100/31 x number of non working days including weekend after your services is terminated).
I included weekends since your boss given you a round monthly figure and not part time rate per day. If the amount does not tally, you can ask labour dept to calculate for you.
