This is depending to the end user / owner …white is the safe colour and but in time you have problems with the grout colour due to accumulated dirt/dust …. Which people can easily see….Would like to ask about the tile grout colour selection.

Light grey- dark grey can reduce this issue … kinda like a camouflage for grouting ….
You can check the selection colour under SIka Davco grout…
How to select ? Check your overall design colour palette … example your kitchen colour pallet …. If not, counter balance with your backsplash colour ….since you are using marble pattern type … match back with the vein colour..(example )
