why not to wait next month only withdraw? this month still got 5% right?
*
Are you willing to risk withdrawal issue for the extra RM4.20 interest?

If yes by all means go ahead.

i don't use it like CASA.. more like a FD but more liquid.
*
Previously i kept around 30k in Rize. Since Dec issue i have moved 20k to eFD 3.9% and balance kept in Gxbank 3%.

I prefer convenience over higher interest rate.

I would say it is better than expected, given that FD rates have been coming off past few months. thumbsup.gif

System failures, too many comments already, hopefully their recent maintenance jobs make it work better.

We will find out after 1 Jan.

But i think people are smarter now after the previous saga. Perhaps they could withdraw RM1 first before RM10k.

Aww the 5% Rize is gone, but 4% is still more attractive than GXBank, next year going to be more interesting since 3 more digital banks launching soon 🤔
*
If only the Rize app is as smooth as Gxbank app, i would still be using them. Hope the new Rize CEO can revamp their app if they want to capture more market share.

If not happy, move the funds out, and request account closure. This is the better action to show them "who's the boss"
*
I requested to close my account since Dec 2023. Till now my account has yet to be closed. I have sent more than 10 emails to them but they still sitting on it. So ‘who’s the boss’??

that is very bad  doh.gif  doh.gif

imagine if they chose not to continue the 4% p.a.

how long would it takes for account closure and to get back the final RM20.

do BNM have any guidance or timeline where bank must process closure of account within x period?
*
You could leave only RM10 in Rize account, not RM20.

Do you have their debit card? They might deduct your balance for the debit card annual fee.
