QUOTE(LamboSama @ Apr 5 2023, 12:51 PM) Yup. TNG blocks you for 48 hours after change phone because they consider suspicious behaviour. Every bank and TnG sure got different procedure to deactivate device link from old device and activate new device, imagine the headache to go thru for each bank and TnG.Maybank block you for 24 hours. Why don't they just link to the mobile number instead of the device. |

QUOTE(Oltromen Ripot @ Apr 5 2023, 04:32 PM) BNM mandate rule maaa. Why don't they link to mobile number instead of the device? If change device, must have tempoh bertenang 24hrs , cannot immediately do transaction. Later robber signed-in then immediately clean you out, marah pulak. Really troublesome when u changed phone, every bank also got different procedure to unlink and link a new device. Imagine the hassle to set up a new phone moving forward, it's gonna take days before your life resume normal. |

QUOTE(Oltromen Ripot @ Apr 5 2023, 04:43 PM) but TnG eWallet kan already mobile-number based. Pity ppl with lots of banks, need to unlink/link for every device, probably have to go to the bank/ATM.you log out then log in again, did it ask for anything other than mobile number? bila phone number kena clone, SIM kena replace, macam mana pulak? bukan ini modus operandi sesetengah kes? memang kita rasa leceh. i also agree. but the benefit outweighs the pain; especially if it is you yang jadi mangsa account kena pecah masuk. at least now there is time to prevent immediate ransack. i hope there is notification on the original device whenever a new login on a new device attempts to invalidate the original. What happened to me recently, old phone spoiled, tried go ATM to activate the new link device, then find out ATM card already expired (long time don't even use cash |

QUOTE(anakMY @ Apr 5 2023, 04:53 PM) Each time u changed phone, u have to link new devices for every bank and TnG you got. The hassle is enough to spoil your mood for at least few days or even a week depending on how much hassle involve for each bank. |
