Hi Lowyat.NET Consolers!

Man I miss this place. Used to hang out here a lot (remember me, Nintendo forumers?), until I got seriously busy like mad vmad.gif

Anyway, I've posted this same exact announcement in Gamer's Hideout, but I would like to extend my reach to console players as well. Any gamer's input is important to me rclxms.gif

------------------------------------------------------------------------

You might have heard of this international casual game site before: Jayis Games. Recently they held the Casual Game Design Competition #4 where game designers submit their flash games revolving around the chosen theme: ball physics. Sponsors of this competition include Sierra Online and famous flash game portals like ArcadeTown and Armor Games.

I have submitted my game a few weeks ago. I'm proud to say that my entry is the only Malaysian entry. In fact, it's the only Asian entry haha. The other contenders come from the US, UK, Australia and some parts of Europe. Almost 50 entries in all.

The good news is, my game has been chosen as one of the finalists in the running for the main prizes as well as audience voting! However, to ensure that the audience vote is genuine, you can only vote by donating funds via paypal, in which the money will go to the game creator.

Bottom line, I would like you all to try out my game. It's called Ballistic Wars, a simple strategy game that mixes the theme of war strategy and pool. You can leave comments on the game page itself (68 comments so far! biggrin.gif). Btw, most of the comments were made based on the previous version of the game. The current game in the entry is the polished version.

If you like it (and you have a little money), please vote for my game! Check out the Jayis Games website tomorrow or later today to find out more on how audience voting works.

In advance, thanks for playing! laugh.gif

Thanks leenaz! Watch out for http://www.jayisgames.com today or tomorrow for the voting method. Unfortunately, I think paypal's the only way.

Added on October 17, 2007, 2:15 pmAlright people, the voting session is up! If you like my game, Ballistic Wars, please vote for it! biggrin.gif

Each vote requires a minimum of $US 1, which will go to the game creator. This is a great move to encourage him/her to come up with more creative games! Although it uses the paypal engine, you can use your credit card without creating a paypal account.

Of course, please check out the other games as well, as you can vote for multiple games in one go.
