this is not theory lor... it is science and astronomical data... see the mapping on moon visibility...
on this map, malaysia is clearly not on the zone where new moon can be seen by any aid as the moon still not set before sun.
compare to 2022-
malaysia on the zone where moon possible to seen by optical aid. which we did last year even not fulfill criteria(calculation), but based on hadis, when we see the moon, mean it already new month(rephrasing the hadis).
BTW, if hari raya(both) fall on friday, you have the choice to choose which solat you want to go...

it is not prediction but based on lunar sighting calculation and astrological data. on map i attached here got few colour which is whit is not possible to see new moon, blue possible to see using aid, cyan can see by naked eye if condition are great and green can be see by naked eye on any condition
