my god, i already applied AL on 25-26Apr23.
If raya on 21Apr23 mean monday no PH....damnnn..

it just so happened that for fasting and aidilfitri, it begin on 1st of ramadhan and 1st of syawal.

aidiladha 10th-13th day of month zulhijah.
will be moot if you go watch moon on 9th of zulhijah.... since it's already confirmed the next day will be 10th.

imagine if for aidiladha, you go watch moon on 8th or 9th zulhijah, and somehow ended up with, "eh, anak bulan (tidak) kelihatan, so kena adjust tarikh, esok bukan 10" or "esok baru 9", so how are you going to move today's date and regress all the way back to previous 1st? 😂🤣

There are internet website which can show you future calendar and holidays. In fact, there will be 3 years Hari Raya and CNY will overlap. From 2029 to 2031. The first 2 years even overlap in such a way that there will be 4 days consecutive holidays. Big celebration very few people will be working. But of course, still subject to new moon sighting as usual for hari Raya.

2029, CNY starts from 13 Feb Tuesday, Hari Raya is 15 Feb Thursday. Plus weekend there will be a grand total of 6 days holidays.

2030. CNY starts from 03 Feb Sunday, Hari Raya is 5 Feb Tuesday. Meaning once again 6 days holidays starting from Saturday to Thursday. For KL there is one more federal holiday on Friday so a total of 7 days.

2031. CNY starts from 23 Jan Thursday, Hari Raya is 25 Jan Saturday, if you work in MNC and get replacement for Saturday then once again you have 6 days holidays in a row.

Hope still alive by then no WW3 and can enjoy all these holidays for 3 years straight. You only get to enjoy this once in a lifetime only.
