Did anyone receive a call or went to talk celcomdigi to get a deal for renewing contract? Any good deal for renewing?

My contract just finished and previously digi were giving me 40rm discount per month for renewing. Now under celcomdigi, haven't received any call yet.

Hi all, recently my dad signed up the CelcomDigi Postpaid 260 with free fibre
Successfully transferred from TM to CelcomDigi (10 times with MCMC report)
Then everything is ok until I checked IPV6. There is no IPV6 address provided in their router (Skyworth) and I changed my own router (prev for unifi) and changed VLAN and PPPoE username and password. Internet access up and working but IPV6 is not working (worked on unifi). Technician came today but he say he don’t know also. Asked Digi Fibre CS they say v6 on their end is working and dispatched a technician came which told me he don’t know about this.

Celcom fibre don’t have ipv6 yet

Just gotten the latest Celcom fiber bill, was on 300mbps - 2 years contract, mid last month gotten free upgrade to 500mbps, however this months bill have to pay extra RM50-one off for the upgrade due to some pro-rated charges (Celcom Service advisor explain). After that next month bill will revert to old 300mbps charges, is it fair? can i raised to MCMC? as the free upgrade its auto opt in, only turn off its the extra RM50 which is one-off as advised.

The TP Link router provided by Celcom Digi has broken firmware in it. It uses custom firmware made for Celcom Digi. But this firmware seems to be broken and buggy.

Issues faced when using this firmware:

1.DNS resolution does not work properly.
2.Device becomes unstable, using Wifi and ethernet is not stable.

Hope Celcom Digi and TP Link fix this.

Quite rare for ISP to update their router firmware. You would be better off getting own router or see if the Tp-Link can be flash to original firmware.

Hi, I'm interested with the CelcomDigi One Ultra promotion - and it comes with the 300Mbps fibre plan. Does the Fibre internet have any FUP? My current usage on Unifi is 1.3TB download and 2.4TB upload, so I'm quite worried if I get FUPd. Thanks in advance.

I think what they meant was that there is no available port for 300mbps in your place.
Could be that all ports already been taken.

Thank you. Will consider on 24 months again. I had been offered with TM Promo to stay. The public IP is what ultimately caused me to stay with them. Maybe in 2 years I have no further need for public IP or IPv6 is prevalent smile.gif

I’m just going to answer briefly. You should research this yourself, as there are plenty of resources available online for you, and I’m only answering this as I’m free and want to help you understand better.

Dynamic IP is shared over multiple households. If you want a dedicated IP address, it is referred to as static/fixed IP and TM does offer that, but be prepared to fork out a huge sum of money.

Public IP can refer to both dynamic IP and static/fixed IP. It means that your IP is viewable or can be seen by other devices over the Internet.

Private IP is private, and is not viewable or seen by other devices over the Internet, If you want to get technical, it is between those ranges of IP address below:

192.168.0.0 - 192.168.255.255 (65,536 IP addresses)
172.16.0.0 - 172.31.255.255 (1,048,576 IP addresses)
10.0.0.0 - 10.255.255.255 (16,777,216 IP addresses)

See here for more: https://whatismyipaddress.com/private-ip.
