Very tiny and tiny bugs that like ants but not ants....
Is it becos too humid?
Any way to prevent it?
And how to cover it?
With new layer of paint?
Thanks....

I think i had the similar issue as yours whenever it rains for a long period of time which made the humidity skyrocket.
Should be the same as mentioned in below link as well https://www.reddit.com/r/malaysia/comments/...ugs_on_my_wall/ i tried using a solution which i mix borax and water and wipe of the affected area, the bugs are still there but the amount did reduce a lot. But its not a permanent fix as it did came back if it rains frequently Eg: 10/14 days. i believe good ventilation also could solve this issue, but i didnt try it as bugs tend to fly into the house as i leave it unintended. |

QUOTE(moiskyrie @ Mar 30 2023, 10:06 AM) My house ceiling got those tiny holes.... They move around a lot and stay around even with lights on? Most likely booklice, quite common in humid areas, because they feed on mold and algae on walls.Very tiny and tiny bugs that like ants but not ants.... Is it becos too humid? Any way to prevent it? And how to cover it? With new layer of paint? Thanks.... Attach the pic ![]() ![]() The areas affected will need to clean with antifungal+anti algae cleaners (like vinegar or chemical cleaners), probably have to remove and redo the plaster ceiling if the ceiling itself is their home or too full of mold. The rooms affected need to put dehumidifier to keep the mold/algae growth away that attracts these bugs. |

QUOTE(moiskyrie @ Mar 31 2023, 06:20 PM) Not obvious spots, bugs like this feed on what grows on surface which might not grow thick enough for the eye to see.Important is you need to control humidity to prevent them from coming back after cleaning. |
