just found this local brand while looking around for laptop, what do you guys think? Whats better option for me for 15.6" laptop for browsing and netflix only no gaming at all.

Company website looks damn suspect... Why?
1) For their laptop price range, they are offering Win 10 Pro & Microsoft Office pre-installed... The OS + Office is not cheap.
2) Cannot find any SSM/Physical Address or any related details.
3) I get a bad feeling looking at their website.

for this spec, better use chromeOS than Windows 10.

I see, I'm from kuching and our local pc store (PC Image) bring in their brand but I don't have anyone to ask around, shopee hardly gets any review at all too.

Shopee has some seller that sell RM1160 with Windows 10 but without any Microsoft office.

Your choice lor. Laptop lifespan / failure rate is 3 years, so better get a decent reputable brand.
I recommend Asus.

Laptop is not just about the speed on the components inside, the build quality and motherboard very important too.

But if I had to guess, probably a Clevo or Tongfang (2 of the largest odm manufactuers) rebranded, could also be from one of the smaller brands

despite all your advice, curiosity in me still go and purchase for rm1160 with 1 year warranty. here's my review,

nice design but build quality is cheap as expected, very plastic even typing the keyboard feels cheap and speaker sounds terrible other than that no complaint for light use such as web browsing and email.

verdicts : not worth it, pay few hundreds bucks get a better brand that comes with better build quality.
