Next month will be the last payment of my car loan. The operator advise me to go to any branch to perform the payment instead of online bank transfer. What document should I get back from the bank?

If the car grant is with the bank then get it back lo.

Release letter is not necessary as jpj doing online now (e-batal).

Car grant can always get it earlier if you go to the bank and ask for it. Say you driving to Singapore.

Got my registration card. Apart from fully settle the loan what should i do with other related authorities ie: JPJ, Puspakom ect after i paid off? What is e-batal, mandatory to do it?

i fully settled my car payment when there were 5 months left, never bothered to contact the bank

Walk in to the branch to officially close the account. They will close the hire purchase account and perform "e-batal". I received a confirmation letter after weeks from RHB as well. Time to look for new car.....

Fully settle doesn't mean the car is legally yours. Have you gotten the e-batal? Else the car is still under the bank and you can't sell it off until you sort it out.

i see. few days after i made the full payment, i received an automatic letter by the bank stating that my instalment is completed. i just assumed that letter is proof that hakmilik thing is already settled.

Damn it, why the owner needs to go to JPJ just to cancel the financier claim ? The financier already issued the e-batal in the system, JPJ cancel je la ikut surat or e-batal tu. Redundant. Nabeh now I have to do this redundant thing at JPJ. Then ask why not productive ?

The bank counter told me I can go jpj after 3 days to register my sole name to the car, but it's not necessary as the bank closed the account. The bank has no claim to the car anymore as the grant is in my name already.

No, the bank account that has my car is terminated with last payment. The car grant is with me.

VOC doesn't have any "hakmilik dituntut oleh..." stamp unlike older geran. Collected my VOC after settling last payment at the auto branch (I called them for final amount to do early settlement, then paid online).

Bank said they did e-batal dy, no need to visit JPJ.

I tried doing name transfer using mysikap, no issue to proceed. I remember when I still had loan, an error popped up.

Where got. My car loan from 2013 settled in 2020.

-Called bank to fully settle my loan (few more instalments remaining). Been asked to go to any hire purchase branch to settle
- went to branch. Did online transfer at the counter (via hp) and verified by the officer.
- done. No letter whatsoever
- after 4 days went to JPJ to get the "batal" stamp on my grant (the grant has been with me for a few years already).

Why is it the owner has to go to JPJ to strike out the financier claim on our vehicle that has been fully settled ? The financier has updated and cancelled their claim on our vehicle and that should be it. Done complete finished. Nabeh personally have to go to JPJ for this useless thing ?

It is not about the registration card now. It's about updating the damn system at JPJ. Apparently even the financier updating the system at their end is not sufficient enough but owner has to go to JPJ wait for the entire day to get this sorted out.

For my 2018 car, it's using VOC instead of old grant. So no physical stamping of hakmilik dituntut.... on the hardcopy grant when I collected it from the bank.

I just did full settlement for my car, and the bank advised me to go to JPJ. Previously, different CS from same bank said no need to do anything, straightaway can do name transfer if plan to sell. Now I am confused.

I was able to proceed with the steps. Iirc, when the car loan was active, I encountered some encumbrance. Something like a caveat, if you like. Need fellow ktards with HP loan to confirm again.
