If you have monthly based subscription, its a good idea to use debit credit card and just have enough inside for each month's deduction. This prevents any unwanted charges that you may have forgotten about or accidental charges like in-app purchases made by children at home.

I use this for my netflix subs and google play subs. Peace of mind knowing I won't be a victim of unknown charges from the internet.
