Indrive is good. Used it many times, u offer a fare, drivers will counter with their fares , sometimes its the same as what u offer or sometimes higher. If its higher, just reject. But usually driver is far so need to wait longer but the fare is more logical. Grab fares dont make sense anymore.

hope you are right. i made a booking, grab price is 300 baht, indrive suggested price is 160 baht, however the driver offer 800 baht. driver attitude reflect the company approach of doing biz. i reject, cancel and delete the apps.

The thing about Grab that I hate is your driver has no choice whether to pick you or not. IT's auto, so driver will ask you to cancel if he thinks your location is too far.
In Drive you can choose your driver and get cheap price too.

Big difference. Taxi u need to go and ask 1 by 1 the price. With indrive, u just sit back and wait for ppl to offer u their fare. If u think the offer is too high, just reject. If the offer u think is a fair price, then accept. So simple

Also the thing about In Drive is that some drivers are friendly and will drop their phone numbers to you, so that you can contact them in case you didn't get Grab/In Drive.
That's the perk and you can fix price with them later on in case of emergency.

It's quite hard to get Grab now. Most of the time it will take more than 10 minutes to get one during peak hour and 3-4 minutes during nonpeak hours. And once you get one, usually the driver is very far from you and they will call you to cancel the order because it's not worth it to come pick me up.
I wonder where have the Grab drivers gone lol. I remember few years back it was easy to get Grab driver.
This is different from In Drive. Usually I will get 3 drivers who offer me fare instantly.

indrive doesn't offer you rm200 when he know you are not a tourist, however the moment he make a guess that you are a tourist and may not familiar with kl, then its always rm200, rm150 or rm100 like those no meter taxi, a scammer that have no license to operate, not a legal entity, and with taxi driver that are scammer who is ready to scam cheat steal and rob.
