My unifi contract ended, and live chat told me no special promotion to renew contract so am looking for better value fibre.

Currently on RM129 100mbps Unifi plan, thinking of switching to Digi Rm100 300mbps.

Is it better to remain on unifi or port out?

Usage (2 ppl)
- Tv streaming eg. Netflix/Disney hotstar
- Download console games heavy  > 40gb
- Ocassionally work from home

U kena conned. Digi no freaking way so cheap.
That price u see is need to be paired with Postpaid plan.

If u want to save some money the only way is to jump to Maxshit Fiber current promotion is free speed upgrade for 12 months + 6 months free subscription.

If you are don't have any specific requirement, stick with unifi.
Migrating to digi is pointless because its just largely TM network with inferior everything else.
Celcom and Maxis is different story because they have their own network blend, which depends on your use case, maybe superior to TM.

If you insist to go on that fake rm100 promo at least register at celcom counter so you are in celcom network whith is super stable compared to TM which is digi based on.
(although ironically my house's celcom right no has no internet due to TM screwed up their DP somewhere and I got LOS blinking)

Voted for Unifi because I've been with them since 2012 and very rarely have any problem. Technician response very fast. And pricing is great.

You have to be either 500mbps plan afaik, after the new MSAP pricing
Before that, 300mbps automatically TM gave you Public IP, just call their tech team to double check
Now they give to their 500mbps and above cust.

If you want cheap Public IP, go for Maxis but additional rm10 in your bill every month.
fellow lowyat dwellers, If my info is wrong, please correct me, thanks biggrin.gif

if u are staying in landed house, then unifi is the only choice. dun ever consider maxis, celcomdigi or others...

if high-rise, then go for time fibre (due to symmetric speed) or u mobile (it is cheaper than time and uses time fibre infra).

*Maxis could be considered if your area is on Maxis own Infra
It's quite rare but there are posts out there of people getting Maxis's own infrastructure in their taman
mostly new places
but some high rise places may have them too

if your place has them they are far cheaper than even TIME or Allo (1Gbps at RM189 for 24 months, at least for a flyer I got back in 2023)
