Recently I apply for Digi Fiber 90,
then the day came for installation.

The digi agent was on time but we both have to wait for the TM contractors who were late for about 2 hours.

1. Digi fiber stated that from DP box to BTU (house) they are giving 100m free. My place is 151m from the DP box, therefore extra 51m & the contractors quoted rm180 (the line will go from pole to pole)
I think is kinda expensive or am I wrong?

2. They also told me that this tree is between two poles, its difficult for them to do, therefore they don't wanna proceed (picture below).

The thing is, my three neighbours just installed their unifi 1-3 months ago & their fiber lines kinda passing the side of trees.

Is there such cases where there is a tree or branches in between poles, contractors will refuse to install?

In the end, I re-arrange for another date & not sure what the next random tm contractors will do

RM180 is honestly kinda fair, I would even consider it cheap if the stated length is true

For UniFi cases, if it's within their coverage they will normally cover all external fiber charges to your property.

why not complain to municipal council or TM first to get them to cut off those branches and bush? pretty sure that TM itself will be interested to get those wires freed up than having to replace them after a storm.

1) price seems reasonable

2) yes, some TM installer will consider not to install due to the difficulties.
maybe consider cut half the tree to make sure the wiring not touching the branches.
This is a common issue, most can solve

update:

finally have to fork out rm150 to cut & trim trees

Then another rm150 (discounted) for tm guys to do the extra 50m

Conclusion:
if your house is less than 100m from DP box & without any obstruction of any sort, then go for digi.
If not, then go for unifi straight which they will clear every obstruction & no limit of the fiber line to your house
