Ah, kenapa pakaian lelaki mahal? Lihatlah dalam shopping mall, harga pakaian lelaki tidak kira seluar atau baju atau apa sekali pun selalunya mahal.

Adakah disebabkan pakaian lelaki lagi selesa?

Cari shopping mall yang bukan high class. Pantai timur, mydin. Ok je harga. Kalau aeon, billion, mahal la. Brand pun lain.

Got so many selections, choose wisely.

But I came across one recent situation while buying polo shirts :

- Brand A, RM159
- Brand B, RM79

Brand A is pricey, but the material is soft cotton, thick but cool.

Brand B might be cheaper, but thin material and the cotton is kasar a bit.

All in all - everything also pricey nowadays.

Uniqlo polo is probably the best bang

Rest is up to your spending power and reasoning

Which shopping malls, upmarket ones like 1 Utama & Pavilion Bukit Bintang or mid-tier like Sogo?

It is really hard to pinpoint a factor that determine the pricing of these clothing. First of all, men dont change cloth often like women. The demand side will be much lower which could translate into lower production volume and longer inventory storage.

Material wise, again is depending on brand preference and it's target customer. Some would make more durable clothing, while some would make more comfortable but less durable clothing.

Thirdly is the location of the production sites including raw materials. Uniqlo maybe providing good and affordable clothing for the mass but if you watched NatGeo documentaries, Uniqlo fabric suppliers are polluting Indonesia very badly.

Last but not least is the location of the retail shop, which determine the rental cost and also overhead cost.
