I like to know whether anybody have any experience in overclockng the current intel
G33 based motherboard with build-in integrated graphic.

It seem that everybody is into P35 or P965 base motherboard. No light on the G33.

I had a very bad experience with G965 motherboard, because the G965 does not allow PCI 100Mhz Freq lock which cause the motherboard to be an extremely lousy overclocker.

I don't know whether Intel has improved or ironed out this bug in the G33 and the upcoming G35 chipset.

Not everyone overclocker is into gaming, therefore some user do not need any high end graphic card.

All they need is just plain office work, and watch some video clip once a while. And this G33 seems to be the best candidate to suit this criteria.

Buying a G33 motherboard minus a graphic card is a lot cheaper than buying a P35 motherboard with a cheap graphic card and this cheap graphic card cannot even match the performance of G33 graphic.

That goes without saying of cause. P35 definately overclock better than g33.

But try add the cost of a decent graphic card especially those dx10 card and p35 motherboard. The price is definately more expensive. Right.

We are not talking about hardcore overclock but decent or moderate overclocking.

This might be a very good entry point for those newbie to get themselve experience on what overclocking is all about.

Added on October 15, 2007, 5:20 pmI like to know whether the G33 ties the FSB clock with PCI clock as what in G965. Meaning any overclocking more than 10% will cause the hard disk to crash.

Noticed most of these G33 motherboard uses mATX form factor. Any idea whether they are good choice for HTPC setup on budget.

Couple some E21x0 series cpu and overclock kaw kaw
