For landlord out there, when you extend your lease to your tenant - do you normally continue the existing agreement or reissue?
Or both parties sign extension letter and get stamped with LHDN?

You can do it by way of an extension letter or agreement for extension. I assume that you want to renew the tenancy with the the same terms and conditions as the original agreement. If yes, you can prepare the agreement yourself by inserting the necessary details here http://www.lawyerment.com.my/library/fl/rles/agm/tnlse.shtml and then press 'Generate Document'. It is not necessary to reuse the original agreement. This post has been edited by hafiziza: Mar 17 2023, 11:55 AM martmax liked this post
