Just wanted to create a space for the pug's owner to share the experience of owning the car, but seems like there are not much pug owner here in this forum or most of them are rather "quiet"?

I would agree there isn't much owners here. Mostly this kind of forum are only for ppl that know lowyat website and forum. This platform is more like old school. Even my Almera group super quiet ever since the Turbo was launched.
Now owners join FB groups and any WhatsApp group. Great place to find direct owner who wants to sell their car.
You are the current gen 2008? Very beautiful car

Ppl who buy this already bought a shit vac that comes with it. So what ever shit it is... Can always clean and disinfect (warranty and deep pockets)
Owners already wearing diapers (other spare cars that is in the garage) i will be very surprised if someone bought this brand and didn't even know about all the shit it comes with 😅

facelift usually come in 1-2 year after europe launch, and I heard it might come in as the e2008 version.

Personally I don't really like the look of the new facelift, so yeah it's all up to you.

What they bring in may not be exactly the one they showcase on roadshow, anyway we'll see that when it's official.

I only do normal coating and wash the car weekly/bi-weekly, so far no scratch yet on that area and I think it is quite scratch resistant also, you can also apply some protection on it.

I joined the group in FB. Seems very quiet with some sales man post. Anyway just made the booking on black colour. Before this test drive two times. Road handling wise was above average and comparable to my civic fc. Not sure about others. Just that I feel difficult to find best driving position for my height 182cm

Nice, when will you getting your car?

I'm at 170cm height and able to find a comfortable driving position, need to adjust few times to find that spot.

There is another private FB group with all the owners but it also kinda quiet, we also have a whatsapp group with all the user there and there are more happening. Do PM me your number so I can add you into the group after you get your car biggrin.gif

Good for you able to find good position. Actually bought for wife but at the end of the day I still need to drive. My complain is that the sit is not auto as same others offering. I booked at Putrajaya branch, salesman said car probably arrive end of this week or next week. I need to sell my car first for dp. Hopefully can settle by this week. I will pm you my number

Hi bro,

I'm considering to get the 2008. Can you share your experience for the service and maintenance for this car?

Any common problem for the 1.2L puretec engine so far?

I saw some ppl comment about the oil belt issue in Europe.

Hope to get some feedback from you.

Thanks!

Hello,

so far the service and maintenance wise nothing much to say as most of us still having free service and maintenance for 5 years or 100k KM for new car under the previous distributor - Bermaz, but for your info the manufacturer for Peugeot which is Stellantis have came in to take over the distributions so new car bought under Stellantis now no longer have free service and maintenance for 5 years or 100k KM, but instead getting warranty for 7 years. Price wise for service I personally haven't pay anything yet so far after 1 year plus of owning the car, and problem free so far.

common problem for the car among the members are like windscreen fogging from aircond vent, some rattling noise on dashboard, which most of them has been rectified by SC. And once in awhile the media controller will freeze and cant do any action, can be done by reboot the media controller or restart the car. So far haven't heard anyone have issue with oil belt yet in the group.
