Lol most car are driven daily under sun n rain, parked at open parking at weather mercy...for years still dont have this rust issue

My flood ploton car don't even have these rust

Under dashboard no rust, under seat no rust

Only under carpet minor rust and I fixed it...

This is really not acceptable

So Perodua cars now langsung no anti-rust treatment?

Last time Proton got 6 yrs anti-rust warranty.

-oil filter leaks
-aircond lambat sejuk
-interior trims rattles

but most famously kena on MG3

thankfully my MG3 so far oil filter all ok no leaks.

perodua oil filter rm11 je so don't expect much

Cheap car what to do, hoo haa feature kalahkan kereta conti, tapi kereta karat, even my nissan sunny already 30 years doesn't rust like this. More feature at cheaper price, jangan ingat takde cut cost tempat lain. Berukdua famous for cut cost tempat orang tak nampak.

looks like old stock put in new car....clear backlog stock or dead stock spare parts, very common , but as commercial products, sure cust will complain....

not only Myvi kena, Bezza also kena oil filter leak.

Basically it is perodua oil filter that has problem.

i think this particular car didnt do a good job of applying a layer of anti rust before painting.

The perodua Supplier Quality Manager Malaysia should be fired, either he is corrupt, close one eyes to accept low tier supplier or he is sleeping in his jobs... lol

either good choice or bad choice, all car maker adhere to customer safety is the priority... driving a new car not even 6 month with part came to rust, what will the impact if this car met collision? will the rust part sustain the impact? what if the driver fly out from the car windscreen because the rust part simply brittle during the impact, can the driver sue back this car manufacturing?

that why i said, all this came back to the perodua super poor supplier management team... and should be the one fired!

I check my own alza, all the spring and mentioned location are paint coated and no rust. Is the user live in wet place or keep splash water in car?

and people are on the other thread bashing proton without realizing they all have problems

and perodua is more champion in cost cutting than proton if u ask me

Seems like totally no coating. You can see other parts coated, but obviously not the rusty ones

Obviously their supplier or the perodua manufacturing miss out one process step,

guess, no need 8D from their supplier or the perodua are not IATF certified...

and no la, for family use. Sohai to buy new car to lembu2 with current grab prices, let grab and cheapskate passengers who book cancel re-book until get 6seater car for JustGrab job to untung get to sit in new car.. Both can go die instead

My old 2005 Odyssey - 100% under the sun. Hardly any rust.

Now check if Toyota Veloz got this issue or not. Since both from the same factory.

Did that done that many times. Went to the beach, left salty wet towels in cars for days. Still no significant rust as pictured here.

I'm not eating my word.

What did Perodua SA or Service centre says/ react to these ?

Do they give any response ?

LOL, most cars especially hidden metal part did not got coating on it. Even if got also a light coating of zinc. If you want really to check, check your own seats below guarantee sure got rust, even premium cars like Audi, Merc also same. Besides that, the hidden bar holding your dashboard most of it did not got coating also, go A/C shop when they open dashboard to change the A/C cooling coil can see a lot of metal bracket rusted also. If your car did not involve working in corrosive environment or live nearby sea area usually the rust is not serious and can last for years, even my father old 1971 VW beetle rusted for so many years still survive until today.

Very abnormal. Only rust on certain parts, vendor punya pasal.
