was browsing property listing and I see this score. How important is it in real life? Is it really true or just paperwork to make it seem good?

QUOTE(DragonReine @ Mar 15 2023, 03:07 PM)
Qlassic is a way of measuring the quality of workmanship of the constructed property. It requires that a site inspection be made once a project is completed and ready for vacant possession. Note that undercon projects cannot have a Qlassic score ya, so if agent tries to tell you a new project has a good Qlassic score, they're selling tahi lembu.

Developers that boast about many of their past projects having high Qlassic score usually means that their workmanship is sound and reliable.

In practice, a developer having a record of high Qlassic score projects in the past usually means the developer is moderately reliable. If you decide to buy a new under construction/pending construction project from that same developer, you have some assurance that they'd deliver a well built project with no major defects.

It does NOT mean that the project is automatically a good buy, it just means that the developer is consistent in delivering good workmanship.

It is an independent construction quality assessment tool by CIDB. In term of reliability, it is reliable.

If the developer got biji & dare to put in their sales & marketing, ask them to commit what % they wanted to score , at least >75%, if grading below 75%, no need to blow water.

To date, the highest score in Qlassic nationwide is only at 88%.

So if score is given after completion, does not mean cannot have substandard construction for the foundation of the building?
