Hello guys..

wanna ask if anyone knows how to bypass CPU fan. i don't want connect it to CPU fan pin on mobo but wanna connect it directly to 12V power supply.

there is 4 wires, black, blue, yellow and green. so howto connect it to 12V power supply. then which wire do i need to loop to get RPM reading of the fan...

That's a PWM fan, unfortunately you can't directly connect the bugger to any connector without losing the PWM control and getting a high pitched whining noise.

But if you want to

Pin 1 is GND (Black)
Pin 2 is 12v (Yellow or Red)
Pin 3 is SENSE
Pin 4 is PWM

Connect Pin 1 and 2 to corresponding Mate-n-lok, or if you want it neater, you could crimp it to an original Molex KK.
