Why do I get the feeling if that if the Qatari is successful in buying our club, Mbappe will come join in...

We are so disjointed. Fulham played better 1st half.

Willian should've just let that ball in. They have higher chances to win even if we equalized that moment. Now the meltdown have caused them the game. They indeed deserve to win up until that moment. IpohGuyz liked this post

Both Qatari and Sir Jim didn't submit their bid until now and has been given extension. Is this good or bad?

QUOTE(O-haiyo @ Mar 29 2023, 02:15 PM) Glazer wants 6B but nobody want to pay that. If they don't sell they still have to pay Raine for all the services that they provided. And not to mention the stock price will plummet again. |

QUOTE(aaron1717 @ Apr 17 2023, 09:17 PM) BREAKING: Joel and Avram Glazer are increasingly confident of securing the outside investment that will enable them to remain as #mufc owners and potentially double the value of the club over the next decade. This is just the Glazers trying to get higher bid. Everyone in the business know, if they want to secure outside investment, they will have to let go of their shares. That is akin to them putting in some of their own money into the club. Which is a big no no for their MO since the start of their acquisition. The dividend will be lesser too since they have less shares. No outside investment groups are crazy enough to give them money without having some sort of control over the club.Despite the confirmed bids from Sheikh Jassim and Ratcliffe, via his INEOS group, Joel and Avram believe that the potential for organic growth over the years ahead could make #mufc worth at least £10 billion. With areas of growth anticipated in terms of broadcast revenue, streaming opportunities and a possible restructuring of the club game, there is a view within the #mufc hierarchy that it can become much more valuable with the required investment on and off the pitch. With at least four hugely wealthy investment funds prepared to acquire a stake that would see them become minority shareholders, Joel and Avram Glazer have the opportunity to remain as owners of #mufc. [Mark Ogden] Man...... Glazers super sucks ball |

We are the team that played the most this season in whole of Europe. And we don't have the squad depth to maintain the consistency. With injuries and suspensions, we have no choice to play with what we have. Plus see this as a bright side, take over price will not increase anymore since we are not potential Europa League champion. The Glazers cannot play tarik tali anymore with potential buyer. zidane28 and EightPhantomz liked this post

Putting aside the result of the game, shouldn't today be the deadline for the latest bid to buy the club?

Glazers failed to inflate the price for the club. The highest bid is just over 5B pound. And that is from the Qatari's.

More insight regarding the takeover bids. According to this, even with minority investment, the Glazers will not be in power anymore. But like most in here, I prefer the Qatari's to takeover instead of ENEOS group. |

Very nice result. We are so tumpul in front. So many chances but only 1 goal. But at least today we got 3 points and clean sheet.
Back to takeover bid topic. Currently some side wanna push the narrative that the Qatari's bid value is inclusive of the redevelopment pledge. This make it seems like Sir Jim's bid have more value compared to the Qatari's bid. But the Qatari's said that the bid doesn't include the redevelopment fund pledge. The English media really keen on Sir Jim instead of Qatari's it seems. I am actually not sure what's the point of this narrative that is being pushed. Anyone else have any opinion/explanation? |

QUOTE(IpohGuyz @ Apr 30 2023, 11:54 PM) Redevelopment and wipe debt got nothing benefit glazers. Now is 4b for 50% stake vs 5.5b for 100%. Valuation on share big difference. That is what the current narrative looks like. However, if INEOS put the valuation of the club at 4B, to buy 50% they will only pay 2B for it. Looks like our top 4 threat is from pool And that is only for the price of the club. Not including debt and redevelopment. The Glazers owned 69% of the total shares. From the 50% how much of the shares are going to be from the the Glazers shares? Could it be all 50% from the Glazers? In which case, the Glazers will no longer have voting power. And this is a bit of a good thing that the Glazers are no longer in control. And the most logical choice if someone choose to spend 2B to buy 50% of the club. Or it could be only 20% from the Glazers and the rest is from the other shares? In which, the Glazers still hold the power. This is a bit illogical since who in the right mind is willing to spend 2B to get 50% of the club without the power to make decision. And then after all that, the buyer would have to fork out at least another 1B to fix the issues that the club is facing. This includes debt and redevelopment. Will INEOS group do that? Or they just want ownership and control without spending more money. So this doesn't really looks like a straight cut and clear scenario so far.
