how did they make the crack? dig the soil below the house? usually the land movement only cause that, or the pilling is not done properly, else is the remove the soil, then the soil move and cracked the wall, this has become structural damage, may need engineer to verify if the house is still safe to stay, and if it is link house, those house besides also need to do thorough check
