XM2+ for sure! CC series are crap!

This is just a too generic statement. I have been using CC6 then XM2+ and now CC7. No doubt the XM2+ is slightly better in wet, but I didn't face any major issue driving at >80km/h during heavy rain with CC6 or CC7. The only thing need to avoid is hard braking in wet which I don't think XM2+ can help either. The comfort and quietness are both superior on the CC7 than XM2+.

Comfort and quietness are the only superior part for CC7 compared to XM2+. I wouldn't say XM2+ is only slightly better than CC6 and CC7 in the wet. Just last month I was driving my colleague's car and was cornering on the wet road at around 40-50. It was not even a very heavy rain but the road was wet without standing water. The car skidded and I nearly hit the side wall. The tyres were brand new but it felt like a very warned XM2+ in the wet.

I think you need to be more careful driving in the wet on CC7 at high speed.

Nope, CC series is well known to be crap! Just watch this comparison between cc6 vs xm2+, the difference is so big that I doubt cc7 can make up for it!

Well, you have to understand that people who commented CC5 or CC6 are crap all drive like F1 drivers on the roads. I've driven on CC5 before, no issues whatsover.

We don't drive like F1 drivers cuz we can't, we just drive with "sporty handling" in mind. lol

Hey dude. How long u have been using ur CC7?
Does it have problem like goodyear assurance triple max 2? It is very quite initially then the noise become worst after fee years.
Btw, what is the life span and milleage CC7 can last?

I used the CC6 before and not the CC7. I tried CC7 on my friend's car but I believe they are very similar. I never tried ATM2 but all tyres will be noisy after few years, including CC6. I think after 20k it starts to get quite noisy.

CC6 treadwear is quite high relatively (i think 370 or 380 but cannot remember). I changed after 35k to 40k.

I was on CC6 for 3 years before replaced it with XM2+ and on that for 3 years++ also, my experience is CC6 still quieter after few years.
Already on the new CC7 for 3 months++ now, super happy with it and if given 2nd choice, I will take it again without hesitation.
It is superior to CC6 in my opinion, super comfortable and quiet passing through whatever rough and uneven roads, make the car feel more luxury.
Been driving at >80km/h in heavy rain, didn't face any problem so far with loss of grip. Driving at 110-120km/h on highway and the only noise is from the engine and wind, tyre noise is almost non existent.

I could not feel any difference between CC6 and CC7 coz I just tried CC7 on my colleague's car for 30 minutes. I do agree that it is very comfortable and quiet. After all, those are the specialty of this tyre.

I have a very different experience on the grip, especially wet grip. On straight road it was not too bad but cornering on a wet road at relatively medium speed (40 - 50kph) is scary in my opinion.

I am glad you like it. Everyone has their own priority so there is no best tyre, only most suitable tyre. I personally prefer XM2+ or ES32 due to superior wet and dry grips. Cheers.

Speaking of comparing CC7 and XM2+, has anyone compared it with Pirelli P6 or P7?

I had XM2 last time but after trying Pirelli P6, i don't think i will go back to XM2. The problem now is many shops don't have Pirelli.

Pirelli is the highest followed by XM2 and then CC7.

my personal experience with xm2 plus is the rubber really fast hardened. I still got a lot of tyre flower, but the rubber hardened already. topkek. Its different with my michelin ps4 on my other car. as the rubber is quite consistent during entire lifespan.

and cc6 rubber, not hardened until tyre bald. no point longer lifespan but easily rubber hardened. once rubber hardened, automatic u feel the tyre become crap.

and I feel like xm2 plus use different grade of rubber compare to ps4. please correct me if I wrong in this. but I feel that way.

Yup, still using the CC7 since 2023. Had to replace one with a CC7 due to a sidewall puncture while parked, but otherwise Iam quite happy with them so far. As I mentioned in my 2023 post, they're really good in corners even when wet.

My car still equipped with 2 pairs CC6 from 2022. the scary experience was when i was driving along Karak highway during the rain. there was a second or 2 during approching a corner, the car did not turn but going straight, i was lucky that there was no car nearby before the front tires grip again. I plan to change to CC7 soon.
