if you are large sized and in dire need of space, honda delivers
if you are small size, and in no need for space, you can consider mazda

for my size and my wife, we will never consider mazda2, mazda3, cx3, mx30.

Go sit in them cabins first. Mazda don't bother matching strictly to segment class.

Toyota usually is sell reliability, with the cons of older tech. UMW tend to delay new tech from coming to msia.

yeah that's true. I'm in the market for Segment C smaller sized SUV. Toyota Cross even with its older tech, I still prefer it because of its reliability. LOL!
Though CX-30 is sexy of course. But can't deal with the small space at the back, and tiny boot space.

CX-3 is a B segment SUV as it shares the platform with Mazda 2

CX-30 shares the same platform with Mazda 3, but dubbed at B segment as well.

CX-5 with Mazda 6, but dubbed as C segment.

Mazda 2 & CX-3 really damn cramped.

Mazda 3 & CX-30, just okay. Taller people (more than 175cm) sitting at the back will suffer a bit.
