Cyber is not a walking city. Try walking from one point to another in cyber during hot sun or heavy rain. You can't even do that in KL.

So having a LRT/MRT station at anywhere also will give you the same problem.

Do you know that ERL during peak hours is quite pack.

Most of the time, there are no seats left and a lot of people need to stand.

If is not as packed as LRT but more or less same as Komuter.

A lot of people still think Cyberjaya is still a ghost town with only negros and arabs

Bcos the alignment had to cut thru UPM.

That is why they have feeder bus which operates 2 routes every 30 minutes.

Okay la it's actually quite a pleasant walk along Psn Multimedia from Tamarind Square until the lake overlooking Putrajaya passing along Dpulze.

But both stations are nowhere near this long road of actual city centre of cyber.

The original plan is to have monorail to Putrajaya but the plan is on hold. Maybe in the future, they will build it.

KLIA is already serviced by ERL. So, there is no point building MRT all the way to KLIA. Most countries have a separate dedicated rail to service the airport as the passengers who will board such rail usually will bring a lot of luggage. So, it is inconvenience for those people to take MRT or LRT.

Failed city, wasted so much money for nothing

There are cities in China where the metro goes all the way to their airports. Luggage is not a problem eventhough their trains are always full. It's an alternative to the ERL & definitely another option for commuters. But as it would take longer to reach the airport, may not be viable for some.

We already have ERL. So, it does not make economic sense to have KLIA connected to MRT.

Yes, it did not achieve Silicon Valley of Malaysia but has been transformed into a suburban place instead.

The population has been steadily increasing the past few years.

With the 2 MRT station, it will become even more attractive to some people to stay there.

Ah well. At least the original should've one additional station inside the heart of Putrajaya's admin centre. Not 2 in cyber.

The original plan was to build monorail to service Putrajaya. That is why the MRT ends at Putrajaya Sentral which is nearer to Cyberjaya than Putrajaya. In the future, they might build the monorail connecting Putrajaya Sentral to Putrajaya.

Putrajaya Sentral station also is not really central Putrajaya 🤣😂😭

Its at the outskirt bordering Putrajaya area beside cyberjaya area.

Yet dont really hear pipur complaining why this putrajaya station didnt built until the middle of putrajaya 🤣🤣

Well seriously no idea of it, i am waiting for the picture on opening day.

Putrajaya Sentral is the connecting hub for transportation in that area.

I think it is purposely built in that area because it can service both Cyberjaya and Putrajaya.

Compared to ktards all bising why 2 mrt station built at outskirt border of cyberjaya…

Now they provide prasarana free shuttle bus edi settled most of the last mile commute problem already.

Seen they already started operating pusing2 in cyber edi.

Not a big issue anymore. Cyber is not that big like putrajaya also. So i think its good.

Just now I was also invited to attend official launch of Cyberjaya Hospital by DYMM Sultan Selangor.
