I see no difference in the color of 256K and 16M. Call me color blind sleep.gif
But having 16M will for sure drain the juice even faster which is a downside for it.
*
You not color blind lah. smile.gif
You still can see color of 256K. tongue.gif

ok ran into my very first major headache with an SE fone.

went to media and i find that nothing is on the stick. 0 files. another thing is whenever i go to camera mode, snap a pic, saves a pic, and the fone restarts itself. grr. same thing happens whenever i start the camera with the slider on view mode.

anyone?

This is kinda very discouraging when a new phone gives you problem.
Hope you can nail down what causes it.

Since you have owned and used the K850, you should be able to tell the difference.

Go to Sony Ericsson's website and download the SE Updater (SEUS) and then install it on your PC and then run it, from there the Software will guide you with some easy steps to update (or check is your phone with the latest firmware) your phone.

My family uses 3 different SE mobile phones (K810i, W580i & W850i). Can I use the same SEUS on the 3 phones?

Very much depend on whether the phone has been flashed into correct CDA number.
If the phone is running overseas CDA number firmware, you can't update it unless a reflash of firmware.
*
If cannot update, how do users in other countries update their firmware?
Do they have a different website to do their update?

Different region has different CDA number for firmware.
Other region will update the same way and the server of SE will detect their respective CDA number. Once CDA number is match, then user can proceed with service update.

AP set is overseas set which is brought in by local distributor which is not an authorize dealer. Some of the AP dealer didn't flash it to match with APAC region CDA number which will result in unable to update the firmware smile.gif

Sorry KTCY, I am still blur on the logic here.

If a British bought a K850i in London, he can update his phone's firmware through SEUS while in London.

If he comes to Malaysia to work. While he is here in Malaysia, he needs to update the firmware, SE should have a website for him to update his K850i's firmware, right?
