Please add me into the list

k850i LUMINOUS GREEN, AP UTNT set, Rm1500 plus 2GB m2.

I wanted to ask, how come my hpm-82 that previously used on my k810 is not compatible with current k850? I plug in my phone and no response at all.

And i found that k850's screen is not as bright as my k810 does, its kinda yellowish compared to k810.. and its performance quite slow.. and the touch pad is not really sensitive sometimes, need to touch 2 or 3 times...

got megabass ma?
seriously i want buy a either k810i or k850i
*
Got megabass. Honestly, if u want smoother interface, brighter screen, and dont want the insensitive touch pad, i would recommend k810 lo.. picture quality more or less the same, but video capturing different lo.. But then, the media player of k850 really awesome rclxms.gif

Kinda tough to choose between them, but for me, i will go for k850 of course, cause -- time to upgrade tongue.gif

i going to buy 850 coz dun want abandon my card mah thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif
btw i need a short describe abt this phone, pros and cons
aim to get before CNY,velvet blue
so far the things that get my attention is

-5mp
-megabass ?
-no joystick
-can use microSD

what else ar  rclxub.gif

phone that around my choose now is
-k850
-k810
*
Im using both k810 and k850 right now. For me, k810 is more friendly user.. k810's screen is sharper, more vivid, brighter than k850. I felt so much comfortable looking at k810 screen than k850's screen after 2 days im using k850 and seldom look at my k810.

But design wise, i must confess, k850 is much more nicer, screen larger and the media player is really good. Plus the navigation key, mirror outlook design, camera on/off button, camera shuttle button, and the camera ring are really eye-catching.. Im waiting the latest firmware, hope that the firmware got major improve because the display of k850 is kinda yellowish and way so dimmer compared to my k810.. cry.gif

It does when the light source around it is dim, it's caused by the light sensor which is on the upper left corner of the phone, if you shine bright light to it u'll see ur screen lit up brighter.
*
Wooowww!! Its true!! Nowander sometimes the light like no energy like that.. tested under my bright lamp in my room, compared side by side with my k810, its so much brighter than k810, and the yellowish display gone...

Anyway, how to disable the sensor? I want it to be maximum brightness all the time.. Hehe

QUOTE(sir_impesto @ Jan 30 2008, 12:52 AM)
erk~ about the yellowish screen....have u tried it in the dark place? sumtimes, the screen might be yellowish caused by the reflection of the bright light.
*
Now i got the outcome. It is because of the sensor on top of the phone. When u using the phone under bright enviroment, the display will bright up to avoid user cannot see the screen clearly. When under low light condition, the display will get dimmer to avoid making user's eyes pain if too bright

just read your posts on k850i. u guys facing the flash miss sync thing? like take picture at night the picture dark?
if yes then i know what is ur problem. it has nothin to do with firmwares, its the flash sensor thing.
hold your camera without any finger covering behind. left index and thumb hold the left side of the phone, right index press the cam button and thumb holding the right side of phone. all the other fingers 'open up' as in dont lean on the back of the phone. then all your pictures will be perfect.

(* This is if i understand your problem which is what i was facing last time *)
edit: Hold the phone like the guy in this pic http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/473104
*
To be exact, it is because of the LED light. For example, when you holding the phone in camera mode under dark surrounding, the LED will light up automatically for the focusing purpose, if your fingers are slightly cover at the back of the phone as williamwong mentioned, your fingers will reflect the light from the LED to the sensor and cause the flash not as strong as usual.

The sensor functioning as controlling the flash so that the flash will not be too strong when taking closed-up object and end up with a white picture.

Thanks!

Does anyone knows how to make those games full screen? I have a few games but the screen size is really small or is it suppose to be like that?
*
Make sure your game's resolution is 240*320, it will defaultly set the game in full screen mode, otherwise, will be cacat
